Install Access 2007
I had Office 2003 and purchased an upgrade Office 2007 Pro. When I did a complete reinstall of XP Pro 3 months ago I installed the old 2003 and then the upgrade for 2007, but I decided not to install Access, thinking that I could do it later if required. Now I can't find any way to install it- being an upgrade disc means it looks for a Office 2003 product first (which is not there any more). Funny but Office 2007 does not appear in Add/remove programs either. Any ideas how I could force the install of Access 2007? Clicking on the windows installer in the Access folder does not work.
Any help received with thanks

Have you tried going through the add/remove programs option under control panel? If you click on it in there it may bring up a maintence option that lets you add/remove individual componets.

I found this link for office 2003 to add features after a upgrade, since i don't have office 2007 I can't test it but the principal may be the same.

Smile Install Access 2007
Thanks for the suggestion- there does not seem to be an entry for Office, only some of the other things are listed (web components, Business contact manager, Primary Interop Assemblies etc). Have tried using the 'Add Programs' at the left of Add/rem Prog but doesn't work.
Everything functions fine, but perhaps it didn't like a partial install!
