Any way to know if Office has previously been activated?
Hi,

I have recently been given MS Office SBE 2003 and Office XP Pro 2002. They are genuine versions with the serial sticker on the pack. Is there any way to find out if they have already been activated as, if not, I don't need them and would probably sell them. But I obviously don't want to sell them if they have been activated and will just bin them instead. I don't know much about this sort of thing, so just want some advice.

There is genuinely nothing illegal going on, they are the proper versions and not copies, but just want to know what I can legitimately do with them as I don't want them.

Thanks for any advice.

If you have the original CDs, then any previously activated installation wouldn't be "legit" anymore anyway.
