Hi guys,

I have a small problem relating to this Alt+i shortcut. As you all know, if you press Alt+F,E,V,I,O,T,D, etc you will bring down the top menu. However, in my case, Alt+i removes all formating to a line. (not what i want to do)

I have been searching for the particular keyboard shortcut menu where you can customize certain keyboard shortcuts. I finally found it and it has lots of keyboard shortcuts for which I do not want to go through all of them. I have even tried to reset it to default and it still doesnt work.

Any ideas to get me through this?

Have you tried the Detect and Repair option in the Help menu?

To reset the keyboard and keystrokes to the default settings, follow these simple steps:

1. From the Tools menu, select Customize…
2. In the Customize dialog box click the Keyboard… button
3. The Customize Keyboard dialog box appears
4. Click Reset All… (The button will be shaded out if you have not made any keyboard customizations)
5. Click Yes in the pop up box
6. Click Close
7. Click Close on the Customize dialog box


Note: You will lose all keystrokes you assigned to macros and styles, so before you restore the settings, it is wise to review the customizations you have made.

ahh found my problem... under the option: Save changes in >

There are a few options there and some of them which i am working on may have certain macro set up by mistake. Anyhow.. it is working now
