Solved: Problem with Outlook after latest Microsoft Update
I downloaded th latest Microsoft update earlier today and as soon as I rebooted I happened to get 1 problem with Outlook 2003. I can not send email. I can receive email and my internet connection works but I can't send email. It tells me that it is detecting the server but can't connect. I contacted my ISP provider and they went through my system to make sure i had all setting correct, they were, butthey won't help with any software that is not theirs. I tried to go back to a restore point but non of my restore points will work. I even tried to install outlook express and I get the same problem. I am running Windows XP Pro with SP3. I do not use zone alarm. The thing that worries me is that I can't do a system restore. Does anyone have any suggestions?

See if this is of any help:

If not you can always uninstall the latest update and see if that makes a difference.

I don't know what happened but my ISP went down today, no email, no internet and Telephone, when it came back up a few hours later everything wasworking , I can send email. I guess my ISP was wronge and the problem was on there end, some how, even though web mail worked.
