how to install mdb in access
HI to all you business knowledgeable people. I usually do a lot of hardware and no business applications at all so in this aspect I am a newbie. I couldn't find anything here with a search because I think my problem is too basic.
I have an mdb ( access database) that I need to install in access and an mdb database that I need to install after that but I haven't a clue how to do it. Could someone please help.
Thank you very much,
Linda

Linda, you do not have to "Install" an Access database, you just need Access to open it with.

Thank you so much for your reply. I have one mdb file and one mdb database file. I can get the information from the file but not in the original form and not where I can add more information so I think I must be doing something wrong. I assumed I just did file open with the mdb file and then open the database?

Do you have Access?
It is possible that you are opening as "Read Only", this is especially true if they are in Zip file, they will need to be extracted to work properly.
Can you tell me their complete names?
