CSV files causing problems I've been working with some csv's lately that deal with the game Madden and 4 times over the last several days while having a csv open I've had the following problem. These blue lines appear out of nowhere across my monitor and then whenever I move the mouse or click a button the screen goes black and the "no signal" message pops up. The power button light on my monitor goes from green to orange and then just sits there. Turning the monitor on and off doesn't fix it. The only thing that does is if I restart my computer and without touching anything the monitor comes back on. I've never had this problem before this week and I've had this monitor for several years. Also, it's done it minutes after rebooting my computer so I don't believe overheating is the problem. In fact, as long as I don't open a csv my computer runs without a problem. I've left my computer alone for over an hour just sitting at the desktop and it runs fine. I have the newest nvidia drivers and all of microsoft's updates. I've attached my own drawing of what my monitor looks like before it goes black. I even downloaded a new program for the csv's thinking that Excel might be causing it but the same thing happened when using a csv in the CSVED program I downloaded. Do you guys have any idea as to what is causing this to happen and what I need to do to get it to stop? |
