Smile Word - Water marks
I am trying to use the water marks componement on word. The water marks are actual images that are for the full a4 size. I try to load as header but it doesnt seem to work - it wont let me do a different watermark on each page it just copys to the next page even when i un select same as previous!

Which version of MS Word are you using? Have you tried "Format">>"Background">>"Printed Watermark" from the menu bar yet?

Teh watermark will be the same for all sheets in the doc, if its in the header o footer, except fo First page (if it's marked "Different First page" in Page setup, and even and odd pages - if is market this option in page setup).
The "same as previous" works only for sections!

He is using Office 2007 I am guessing. I do not know where they moved printed watermark within the 2007 version. AJ have you checked out the way I showed the poster to do it? I do use that way as well when I am doing title pages for my book, but the way I showed is much easier to accomplish.

Yeah, if OP is using Vista, I think too, that he is using MS Office 2007!
Let's wait for an answer fro the OP!

Jimr a lot of people paste a picture or wordart or something like this into header or footer of the page, instead of using the way you shown!

I actually use your way, but have never taught it that way in the almost 10 years I have been teaching it. The way I showed is just too simple to use. The only time I would use the way you specified is if I wanted to ignore it on certain pages.

For Word 2007 follow these instructions:
Open Document
Goto Page Layout Tab
Click Watermark (the Pic above it is an earmarked page with the letter A on it) and choose one of the premade or make your own. if you click Custom Watermark at the bottom you have the option to type your own, or add a picture.
