Profile name says Outlook when I click OK a box called Microsoft Exchange comes up, with error saying MAPI Spooler could not be started... I don't even know what that means??? I can send pictures from Outlook OK by using insert a picture or attachment no problems. Can you help. Sheba53

Hi Sheba53

After reading through your thread here: http://forums.techguy.org/web-email/...my-emails.html

It makes me wonder if you have more than one Profile for Outlook 2007.
Look here: Control Panel > Mail Icon
Click the Show Profiles button, how many Profiles are listed in the window?

Hi, I was reading some of the other people you were helping and found out that I had created two profiles for Windows (which is not what I wanted) so went in and made two profiles for Outlook and now that works for both our emails.. I like this site the best of all as I am learning so much from you. thank you again Sheba53

Can you take a screen shot of the error message and post it?

No problem.

Duplicate the problem by attempting to send a picture file again:
When the error message appears, click the prt scr button. On my keyboard it is at the top, above the arrow keys. Your configuration may be different.

Clicking prt scr will copy the image to the clipboard.
Open mspaint:
Programs > Accessories > Paint

In Paint:
Edit > Paste
The image, of the error message, from the clipboard, should be appear.

File > Save As
A Save As window will appear, on the left side, click My Documents or you can save the file to the Desktop. Whichever is easier for you.

In the Filename: field, give your picture a name.
In the Save as type: field, click the drop down arrow and select this file type option: JPEG (*.JPG,*.JPEG,*JPE,*JFIF)

Click the Save button.
__________________________________________________________________________

Then upload that image here:
In the Tech Support Guy forum Reply box, click Go Advanced
Scroll down and click the button: Manage Attachments
A Manage Attachments window will open.
Click the Browse button and browse to My Documents or the Desktop on your computer.
When you locate the picture you created, click the Upload button.

Don't worry, if you don't succeed the first time, keep trying. I'll be notified when you Submit your reply.

If anything in the steps I have given isn't clear, let me know.

Thanks, that is perfect.

The second screen shot, can you click the drop down arrow, so that all the Profiles are revealed and take a screen shot of that?

Alternately, you can see the Profiles listed in:
Control Panel > Mail icon > Show Profiles button

No, sorry, that isn't what I was looking for. That shows the e-mail accounts associated for that one profile.

Look here: Control Panel > Mail icon > Show Profiles button
post a screen shot of the Mail window, please.

You should be an expert in screen shots, by now.

Let me see that screen shot of your profiles, before I answer that.

Found something, that may help.

Close all programs.
Start > Run
Key in exactly, or copy and paste:
C:\Windows\System32\fixmapi.exe
Click: OK

Restart the computer.

Test by sending an attachment as you have before.

Let us know if that makes a difference or not.
