MS Office 2000 & HP credential Manager
Having bought a new HP laptop and used it for a while, I thought I should secure it and use the fingerprint recognition that is built in.

I set up an admin account for me and one for my wife.

I have a number of MS Access 2000 databases set up and under her account they work fine. Under mine when I open the table to amend it I can do so and the amendment/addition is saved. When I close the table I get the "Access has had to close etc. etc" message.
The databases have a number of other screens but these are mostly previews of queries and seem unaffected.

I've wiped it back to default admin account and it's fine again unless I log in via HP Credential Manager (fingerprint scan). Although Fast user switching may be part of the issue if there is more than one user.

I've updated to Office SR3 and XP SP3 but no change.

I'm competent where something won't work at all but working & not working on the same OS under different accounts beats the hell out of me. Anyone have a clue?
