Solved: Word 2007 Merge 5160 Labels
I am creating merge labels (Avery 5160) for a list of students which were created in Excel.

Does anyone know a way to only print two records on each sheet of labels? So...you would have 15 same labels for the first student then 15 same labels for the second and continued.

I can create the first 15 and then insert a NEXT RECORD for the second set of 15. The problem is once it gets to the next page it still includes the second set of 15 and then includes the third record.

EXAMPLE OF WHAT IS HAPPENING:

What about selecting the rows you want to put them in and doing a Find/Replace to replace the field code with the actual name. When you select the rows it should only replace within that selection.

Too many records
The problem is that I essentially have almost 1,000 records to make labels for and need 15 labels for each one. Making a 1,000 copies won't due either, they must be together.

Thanks.

OK try this out. Try deleting the <<NExt REcord>> field code from labels 2-15 and leave it in the 16th. Then delete it from labels 17-30 and see if it works.

When you get to the second page though it begins with the name from the previous page instead of giving a third record then a fourth.

It did not for me. Did you complete the merge and use the layout that I provided?

You're the best!
Thank you so much for your help with this. In Word 2007 the preview is incorrect...it shows that the labels wrap onto the next page but once I finished the merge they show correctly. I had it right the whole time but the preview kept screwing me up.

Thanks for gettting me to just go through with the merge.
