Question MS office 07 uninstall and reinstall on another computer
Hi. I have an XP computer that has a 3rd copy of a three licence download of MS Office 07 on it. I have the key and the software but is it possible to uninstall this copy and install it on another computer. I do not mind deauthourising the old computer but will Microsoft let me do that.

I suppose I could attempt to contact microsoft but if anybody knows the solution to this problem, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

My initial reaction is that it should be no different than if you were replacing a single computer, single license, with a new computer and wanted to move the program. Microsoft does permit that. Someone else may have a different take on it, of course.

I don't think there is any way to deactivate your present one but proceed and you can always call for manual activation if you cannot do automatic and then explain the change and I'm sure they will then activate your 3rd copy.
