Solved: Outlook - Clear Email Address
Hello to all.

My Outlook 2007 is set so that the email address is filled in/auto completed. I would like to keep it that way.

However, there are some old emails to and from people that I will not need to get in contact with. But their email addresses are still in the auto complete list.

Would anyone/someone please tell me how to delete some email addressed from the auto complete list of email address?

Thanks in advance.

Hi BettyAtKitchen

Another way is to arrow down to the unwanted e-mail address in the Autocomplete list and hit the delete key.

If you have more than a few names to weed out, the NK2View utility that Impera posted should help with that.

Let us know if that works for you or not.

EAFiedler,

I tried it your way. I opened a new email, and when i typed in the first letter of the email address, for example "A", the drop down box with email addresses beginning with the letter "A" appeared. However, when I scrolled down to the email address that I wanted to delete from the list, then right clicked, the option to delete the address was not there.

Perhaps i am missing a step?
