Here's one for ya...
Outlook 2003 on XP SP2. User received an email that he wants to forward to another employee. He clicks the forward button and is able to type in the addresses, modify the subject line and even add attachments. It will NOT allow him to type ANYTHING in the body, not even get a cursor or select pre-existing text in the body.

The original message and his signature show up when he forwards, but can't add any additional information to the body. He uses Word 2003 as the email editor.
Along these lines (and which probably has something to do with it), when he Opens Word 2003, types in some dummy characters and closes Word with the X in the upper right corner, it prompts him to save with the SaveAs dialogue window.

Hit Cancel, and you're right back to the document. He has to use the File -> Exit to close the document - which then provides the option to save it or not (Yes, No, Cancel).
I've looked through the Outlook settings, and nothing jumps out at me as being off. I turned off Word as the email editor, and that seems to have resolved the email problem

, but the Word closing problem still exists

-- which leads me to believe that it has something to do with Word. I again checked Word for any settings that jump out at me and nothing looked out of the ordinary.
Any Ideas out there? Am I left with reinstalling Office?
