Confusion with Excel NetWorkTimes results
Hi,

I got help from experts (to be precise AJ and turbodante) on duration calculation in this Forum, but now i have the correct formula but i am not able to make use of it. Let me explain, if i use that formula for a calculation i get the incorrect results whereas when the same spreadsheet is on AJ's comp, it is showing proper results. I have attached both the screenshots here. I tried using different computers, i tried office 2003 and 2007 but the results for me are the same and i am still not able to get fix for it. In the spreadsheet the formula is used to calculate the response time for a request. At row 92, result for me is 5:22:29 whereas with the same formula and same input data it is 0:06:29 for another user (AJ). Can someone please help me on this. Thanks... Vishal

This is essentially where you stopped posting with the last thread - why did you close it?
One thing I notice right away is that you have changed your formatting of numbers. Did you take that into account?

I sent AJ a note about this thread opening - I figure he understands what is going on better than anyone else. No use trying to reinvent the wheel...mine would be of wood, and he makes fancy radial tires.

Hi Vishal,

From your screens I see that the problem is when the start date and the end date are in the same day. I'll take a closer look and post back!
