Hi,
Thank you to anyone who can give me a hand in advance. These two problems have been puzzling me for a while. I doubt they are linked - but they could be I suppose.
I have Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 (12.0.6316.5000) SP1 MSO (12.0.6320.5000) installed apparently. This came pre-installed from Dell. I have tried re-installing it from scratch with no luck. This is a Microsoft Vista Ultimate machine.
I compose email's in HTML, though I have tried Rich and plain text
The symptoms:
*Spell check problem*
Spell check is set to do its checking before sending.
I compose an email and hit send.
If there are no spelling mistakes, the email sends, no problems.
If there are spelling mistakes, the spell check box window appears as you would expect. After the correcting routine I occasionally get a box saying (something like) "Do you want to spell check from the beginning" - clicking either Yes or No will crash Outlook.
*Cursor problem*
While composing an email, I will randomly loose the ability to use my mouse to position the cursor in the message area. I cannot position it, select text, right click - anything with the mouse. I can use the keyboard with the arrow keys perfectly fine though. I find it strange how this only effects the message box - the other fields, such as subject, to, cc etc, are unaffected.
I should explain that this machine is used by a blind person. It has Dolphin Supernova installed - a reader and magnifier product. These problems are present with and without Supernova running.
Thank you for any help you can give me!
