Question Access report hide field but export to Excel
Hi there,

Is there a way to hide a field in and Access report but upon using the "analyze with Excel" shortcut have that field appear in the excel spreadsheet?

I know how to hide or show the field on the report and my users are not sophisticated enough (or willing for that matter) to use shortcuts outside the analyze with excel button. Any suggestions?

Thanks!!

I do not know about that. But my thought is why not create a query with the required field. Create a macro in Access that when they select the button it will output to Excel for them
