Unhappy MS Outlook 2007 - Shortcut Key problem
Hi,

I use MS Outlook for work, and have become very reliant on shortcut keys to make things run quicker (CTRL + V,B,C,arrow keys, Home, End, Enter etc).

Recently I've been getting the error 'clunk' / 'beep' the first time I use these shortcuts, and have to use it again immediately for them to work.
This doesn't happen in any other MS Office application.

I have checked accessability options in Control Panel, and it is nothing to do with sticky keys.

I've spoken with the IT support at work who can't think of what the problem may be.

Anyone out there ever experienced this or have any advice?

Thanks in advance
Nick

Do you have a background SpellChecker running?

Hi ChuckE,

I did have one running, but disabled it following your reply to see if it solved the problem.... unfortunately it didn't.

Thanks
Nick

The reason I asked was the the "beep" you may have been getting might have been from a SpellChecker when it sensed you has entered/selected a word. I get a similar "beep" form my tinySpell.

Just thinking ...
