Open the file in a program and print it from the File menu.

If you install a virtual printer, like DoPDF, you can use it to print any file to a PDF file. That can then be opened on any machine that has FoxIt, Acrobat, or any other PDF reader and printed from there.

Exclamation Wait! I CAN Help!
What type of file is it? I can help you, but I need this information first.

(e.x. Word Document, rich text file)

You can find out by right clicking the files icon, and selecting properties. Then , near the top of the general tab look for "Type of file" and tell me what it says. If you need, I can give you my e-mail.

(I have an example picture as an attachment)

Arrow Try This!
Start by installing this program:
cute PDF writer

Now, right click the file and select "Open With"

Choose a program that you think can open the file (Microsoft Word, Excell, notepad, Microsoft picture viewer, etc.), if you don't see the program yu are looking for, you can choose a defult program and click browse. Open it. Go to File→Print

In the print window, select a printer

And click "Cute PDF writer"

Choose where you wish to save the file, and it will be converted to PDF format (Opens with internet)

As for moving it to another PC with a working printer, you can use a flash drive, or just E-mail it to yourself as an attachment.

If you have any other questions or comments, please <email and web site link removed>

~Charles

P.S. I have an example print window as an attachment

Where did the file come from? There is no possible way to print a file that is out there all by itself, with no file type, or program to open it. Its format could be just about anything.

Clearly I have a right to communicate with people requesting support personally (Via E-mail) I looked through the rules, and it had no restrictions stopping me.

Post Printer
It sounds like the printer has overdone it's job. Maybe an update in your printer would have helped!
