Outlook 2007 Spellcheck issue when using signatures.

I am having an issue with outlook 2007.

I have a number of signatures installed which i used as templates for common emails. however when using signatures outlook is not checking any spellings. Even if it is in text above the signatures.

My only way to get this to work is under the spelling options-set language and tick and then untick the "Do not check spelling and grammar box". (This is intially highlighted in blue as MS shows when it coveres multiple sections with different settings).
