Unhappy MS Outlook 2007 with corrupted Contact entries
I have MS Outlook 2007 under Vista using a couple of PSTs and a few IMAP folders. One PST is 150 MB and has a Contacts file with a few entries that after opening have become corrupted (I believe) and no longer open. This folder does not get email (POP or IMAP directly though I occasionally move a few emails in here). I can see the contact entry but clicking on it does not open it. Other entries open fine. I believe a few entries have disappeared as well. It is a big source of concern to lose contacts like this. Ran Scanpst, rebuilt indexes and created a new PST file into which I moved my old contacts but this has not solved the problem. The problem has continued over from my old laptop to my new laptop. Any idea what I should do? Are Scanpst etc always effective?

Got it resolved by calling Microsoft Tech Support: Exported as a CSV (Windows) and re-imported in to resolve. He did create a new profile for test purposes but this was not necessary to resolve. Hope this helps!
