Solved: Access Query for Birthday coming in the next 30 days
I was looking at the post:

Solved: Access Query Using Birthdate
http://forums.techguy.org/business-a...birthdate.html

Unfortunately the thread is closed so I can't post my solution there.

The problem was not solved in the way asked by StuartM, having myself the same problem, wanting to have a list of the upcoming birthdays in 30 days (and display them chronologically), I have found my own solution:

In a Query:

Field:
Code:
Expr1: DateValue(Format([Birthdate];"dd mm"))

Sort: of course ascending

Criteria:
Code:
Between Date() and Date()+30
The trick is to consider yust the month and the day first, and to convert it later as a DateValue, so that the year becomes the current year not the year of birth.

I hope this will be useful to semeone.

The problem was solved for StuartM in the Database that I posted in Post #7, but he did not understand what it was doing and he needed to be able to explain it for his School project.
