Can't install Office Upgrade...Why? I have listed upgrade product.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I have other posts on my VISTA reinstall problems but I'll make it short to say I had to reinstall my OS. Knowing I had to reinstall Office, I also installed Works 9.0 that came with computer (Dell). Now, that is exactly what was installed before when I installed the Office 2007 just fine the first time (pre-reinstall of VISTA).

However, now when I go to install Office, it tells me it can't find a required upgrade product. On the box Works 9 is listed as an eligible product and that is what I have installed. It gives me an option to browse to the folder where it is installed but I've tried and don't quite know where to point it to find what it wants. Works seems to be in many folders.

Does anyone know what I can do? I don't have internet on that specific computer right now because of the VISTA reinstall issues (see other post) has created an issue with all the network drivers.

Have you started up your copy of Works to see if it functions?
