I have a Lenovo laptop z60m which has XP. On shutdown I am getting an outlookfbthreadwnd error.
A popup will come after that saying Outlook.exe

After closing that box it finally shuts down

Assuming Office 2003 (you don't mention the version), install Office SP1 (service pack 1), but only if you run Office 2003.
