Outlook 2007 Inbox item disappeared!
Hi,

I recently have an issue with one of my outlook 2007 users which the email in 'Inbox' which is older than one week will automatically be 'deleted'. I check in all the archives and find no place of existence. Do you guys have any idea of where those old email could have gone to? Or, why those email disappear?

Thank y'all in advance!

ususim,

Where the messages have gone will depend on why the went away.

The first thinks I would check are the AutoArchive and the Rules settings in Outlook.

AutoArchive:
Right-click the Inbox folder and select Properties and click on the AutoArchive tab.
Is the AutoArchive setting enabled and set to delete or archive message older than a week?

Rules:
Go to Tools > Rules and Alerts
Is there any rule listed that would account for the messages being deleted or moved?
