Simple Access database problem
I'm using Windows XP and Microsoft Access 2003. When I make a report or label, the background color is gray. I've tried to change the background in design view and it seems to be changed, but the report still shows and prints the gray background. I think there must be a background color default somewhere that I changed since all new reports and labels seem to show and print in gray now. Any help to get rid of this would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi dhari,

Welcome.

Ok...to change an object's (form, label, textbox) background or back color the following code should work:

objectname.backcolor = rgb color

so for example if your label's name is Label1...you should write:

Label1.backcolor = vbWhite

or

label1.backcolor = RGB(255,255,255)

The color you choose is up to you.

Hope this helps.

Best,
Zhouma
