driver possibly not the right one?

I have installed Compare Office 2009 on laptop(Vista hiome premium pk2) when I try to trf a database which was created by Microsoft Works 4.5 I can't get computer to open the database, it does see it but says unable to open & it gets an error message that driver may not be correct, How do I find out what driver to download etc?
