I'm not an expert, but I'd say yes, there is. However, it will decrease PDF quality.
I use PrimoPDF as a PDF printer, and it allows you to choose output quality.
When you open a PDF document and print it out in decreased quality, the file will be smaller.
I just tested it on a 9.2MB document, and the result is 40% smaller. Unfortunately, it's also significantly worse to read...

You don't need the printer properties window. Just click on OK to send the document to the PDF printer. You will get a screen like this (see attachment). Printing quality improves from left to right (i.e. 'Screen' is the worst). ű

That's certainly weird. Sorry, I thought it would work. I have no other tips.

Read this:
http://www.primopdf.com/pdfs/primopdf_UG_4-0.pdf
Look for General Settings (you can set the resolution in pixels using this) and also, under Color Image Settings, read about Downsampling.
These all fall under the Custom settings. (Note - using screen, as Jimmy suggested, also generally downsizes the file but only somewhat.)

With General Settings I get again files bigger than original (changing parameter PDF Resolution).

I can't find Color Image Settings, I think because I am using version 5.0.0.19: http://www.filehippo.com/download_primopdf/

The "screen" and "print" quality settings only affect files with images in them - not ones that are just text.

You can decrease the size of straight text files by limiting the fonts allowed - use Times New Roman or Arial only, and do not allow other True-Type fonts, for example.

Well, my document is rather text document (if we can consider table as text).

I can't change the font of text because it is pdf file and with my pdf viewer I can't do it.

If you get the Nitro Pro trial version, it says here (under more information):
http://www.primopdf.com/index.aspx
that you can use that to "Optimize, Repair and Shrink PDF files."

Try downloading again, I guess - save the file first, and then try installing it, don't install upon download.
