Solved: Excel VBA question
HI have a formula that looks at a tab and displays the data in a different tab (Data Tab).

Could you please tell me why it is not working, when I open the excel file?

Also, why cant I modify the formula?

Attached a file.

Thank you,

First, you must change the cell with the formula in it from Text format to General.
Then change your formula to:
=IF(VALUE(ECCnetData!B3)=1,IF(VALUE(ECCnetData!E3)<>"",ECCnetData!E3,""),IF (VALUE(ECCnetData!B103)=2,IF(VALUE(ECCnetData!E103)<>"",ECCnetData!E103,"") ,IF(VALUE(ECCnetData!B104)=4,IF(VALUE(ECCnetData!E104)<>"",ECCnetData!E104, ""),"")))
The VALUE() allows for the fact that the numbers on the sheet ECCnetData are formatted as text, and finds their numeric value.
