Want to draw a circle in Access 2003 Report
The title says it all. I'm trying to draw circles in an Access 2003 report. I can draw rectangles, but not circles.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Pete, as far as I know it is not possible to "Draw" a circle in Access Forms or Reports.
However you can Copy and Paste a Circle from other software in to Access Forms & Reports, so it depends on what you want to do with the Circle as to whether that would work for you or not.

OBP, thanks for the suggestion.

I had thought of that, and have ended up going that way, but now have a follow-on issue.

I have three circles that I need to display, depending on values in certain fields.

I drew the circles in "Paint" and saved them as monochrome BMP files. The problem I have is that the edges of the circles are somewhat jagged.

Is there a better format to display the circle with smooth edges?

Thanks,
Pete

Pete, I would Excel to draw the Circle and then just copy and paste it in to Access. I have tust put a Yellow filled Circle on to an Access Form.
Set the objects Size mode to Zoom, Back Style and Border to Transparent.

The best possible solution would be to use a vector graphics program. However, you might find you have a bit more luck with .png images and, of course, making the original image large (not making it small and enlarging it) would help in preventing the jaggedness.
