Trouble Reinstalling MS Office Professional
I purchased MS Office Professional in June of 2004, but now it needs to be reinstalled. I have no idea what the 25 character product key number is. I was wanting to know if there is any way to retrieve these numbers? It seems like a waste of money not to be able to reinstall this program.

You can retrieve the key if Office is currently installed using Magical Jellybean Keyfinder: http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/
It may find the key if Office was previously installed but now is not (though I don't have experience with this).

I downloaded and ran Belarc Advisor. It give me a product charcter key number, and I'm very sure this is the correct number, but it would not accept it for some reason. Is there something I else I need to do?

Are you using the CD that you used when you first install Office?

The message I get reads: You have not entered a valid Product Key. Please check the number located on the sticker on the back of the CD case or on your Certificate of Authenticity.

I have neither the CD case or the C.O.A..

Did you retrieve the key code as suggested in the earlier posts of this thread?

This should have been done before you tried reinstalling Office!
