God is the creator of all things. I'm sure if God really didn't want something in this world he could easily zap it away into oblivion
And regarding people being perverted, that is a totally different subject that you are trying to blur into one thing. You don't have to be gay to be perverted! God loves us and trust us enough to give us all a little thing called "free will". God can create a person but he cannot, and he WILL NOT take away a persons free will. When someone abuses this gift then God will judge that act, but God will not condemn his own creations. Why should he? | Let's see....you could start with the Bible. And enough scripture has already been quoted by members much more religious than I am, so I won't bother. Quote: |

| Don't write into my words what I never said or suggested! I said NAMBLA MEMBERS are PERVERTED HOMOSEXUALS...which they are! I NEVER said ALL homosexuals are perverted anywhere in any post ! Anyone who thinks having sex with a child is an out and out pervert gay or not! NAMBLA members are pedophiles and there is no way around that! No DECENT person would even want their name associated with that group!

To assume so is an insult to God. How ironic that a "religious" person would put words in God mouth! I think s/he could do a much better job of penmanship than what's in there now.
I totally agree with your statement "Anyone who thinks having sex with a child is an out and out pervert gay or not!". There is no excuse for that in a civilized society. | | Always remembered in our hearts with 82,246 posts. | | Join Date: Apr 2002 Location: Goddess of Random/Resident Ang Experience: Learning it all here! |

I guess mommy and daddy didn't give you ALL of the answers about "religion" huh?
Well guess what, you say that the 10 commandments was written by God huh? For a moment lets pretend that it was. You've already disobeyed one of "his" commandments. Did you ever read the one that says " Thou shall have no strange gods before me?"
I guess that's why you "pray" to Jesus, and not God huh?

#547 | No I ran into a wet chicken with its head cut off if you want to be smart about everything!
Read this and then I truly am out of here. Take care. angel
Throughout the New Testament we find that we are to pray to the Father.
Now Jesus said, "Whatever you ask, you ask in My Name." In other words, we go to the Father in the Name of Jesus. And "in the Name of Jesus" means to go on the authority of Jesus. Effectively, Jesus is saying, "You can talk to the Father, you can have open access into the throne room of Eternal God. What a magnificent blessing and opportunity this is. And it's all made possible on My authority, because I paid for your sins at the cross. I made it possible that you might become right with God. You have been covered by My righteousness. And therefore you can talk with the Father."
And so this is why we pray, "Our Father." And then we pray, "for Jesus' sake," or "in the Name of Jesus," which is indicating that we are doing so on the authority of Christ.

I don't know... I don't think God needs a "middle-man".
So let me get this straight...
God said in HIS 10 commandments that " Thou shall have NO strange gods before me".
Then this "Christ" says that you can make an exception, as long as it's with him.
Now don't you think that if God really wanted it that way, that God would have said so in the 10 commandments?
Hey, maybe it's just that Gods not a very good proof-reader. Maybe what God really meant to say was " Thou shall have NO strange gods before me, except for Jesus of course" | | Distinguished Member with 2,433 posts. | | |

#550 | Christians believe in Jesus... as well as God (the New testament).... while Jews belief only in God (the Old Testament)....
so what is your point Wet Chicken???!!!???
can NO ONE have ANY beliefs..... or must we pass them all through you for your approval first????
the only thing worse than a non-spiritual person... is one that disrespects those that are faithfully spiritual
(no one demands that you follow thier beliefs.... so please be respectful enough to allow others to practice thier own )

#554 | please....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....... don't let a wet chicken influence your beliefs Angel
false prophets (in every form) test the measure of faith at every turn.
your teachings (from your beloved parents) supercedes anything that can (or could) be said by anyone who is a non a believer.
DO NOT...!!!!! allow a non-believer to question your beliefs (just pray for them.... and nothing else)
I may have many flaws... but that much I understand

#555 | Hi khaki. Is that the best you could do? Repeat some rheteric that was passed onto you as a little girl?
And for your information there are more than two "religions".
And it might also be enlightening for you to learn that no one here is keeping anyone from their "religion".
Why is it that when someone questions someone about religion and they have no answers that it's all of a sudden considered disrespecting their religion?
And Angelize no one here is mocking anything, so don't even go there. Thank you
