Good point. But I would oppose blowing up a religious symbol, simply because little strateigically would be accomplished and would also be targeting something religious simply because it is religious.

I believe Golda Meir told Nixon that if he didn't supply Israel with fighter planes to combat Syria?, she was going to nuke it. Nixon caved in, and gave her the planes. Vannasu ? blew the whistle on Israel and was lured to Italy and then kidnapped, tried and sentenced to 20 years in solitary confinement. He's been released on condition he doesn't talk to reporters. But I don't think he's allowed to leave the country.

I agree with you Abudahim. Of course it's not fair. The smart thing to do would be to get Israel to dump the bomb (which they won't do). So, seeing what happens to countries without the Bomb, it's only natural for Iran to try to get one. Saddam didn't have the bomb; North Korea did. Saddam is history; North Korea is still shooting Uncle Sam the bird. The message from Washington: get the Bomb or we'll get you.
