Actually, I'm not sure I should've started this thread. As soon as I posted it, I started thinking about Mulder's thread on Civilized Debate, and realized I was pretty much engaging in Bush-bashing myself. It seemed clever at the time, and I'm glad people are getting enjoyment out of it; but if I could do it over again I wouldn't have included my attachment, just the link. It was pretty disrespectful on my part (and please realize I'm talking about myself, not anyone else) to insinuate the President is stupid. I was in the wrong to do so, and I regret it now. I don't care for Bush, and I'd prefer another person to be president (although I'm not real keen on Kerry, either); but I have no right, privelege, or duty to call the man stupid. I am sorry, and I apologize to anyone I may have offended. I will be more respectful in the future.

I've made this statement of my own free will, and not because I'm afraid of being placed on the "No-Fly" list by the Department of Homeland Security (Mr. Ridge a-ok! )

twotugs:

An honest and sincere admission: respectful!

Don't dispair. Why not just make a new poster and replace your first one?

Why not leave it and retract your apology ! It`s your right to have an opinion that someone maybe " stupid" whether he/she is a president or not .
