I have two WD 30 gig hard drives, each HD has data and I remove them from my other computer running win me and they worked fine.
Put them on onther computer and I can open both in windows.
But on my computer (1000gig. 256 ram, win me)op win me, I only see one the master. Both are see in the BIOS one as a master and the other as a slave. Yet I don't see them in windows. Can anyone help????

Odd... Is there anyway to set the drives on different IDE cables? Some brands have difficulty when placed on the same IDE cable as certain other brands..

Well, I guess we might as well start with the help!

Are they on the same IDE cable now? What other drives do you have on that IDE cable or the other?

Oh, and sometimes if they are different brands, they need to be jumpered in a way other than the one that is normally recommended.
