New show-"Wife swap"
Fox has already broadcasted it and ABC will follow. I already can predict what the majority on these boards will say but what do you think?

Will you be watching?

Personally I expect this from Fox but SHAME ON DISNEY. IMHO-The show mocks marriage and family. Marriage is a sacred covenant and family is a sacred institution. Oh well that's just my opinion.
I didn't watch fox's and won't be watching ABC's. To me watching is condoning and although I know many will be watching it I don't have to partake and won't. I'll take the Narrow path .
Description from Abc for anyone that doesn't know about the show:

Already a smash hit in the UK and most recently awarded a BAFTA, the UK's most prestigious television award, "Wife Swap" gives two families the rare opportunity to witness what it's like to live someone else's life and experiences. Two matriarchs from two households trade places for 10 days. For the first five days of the challenge, they must obey the rules of the new family's lifestyle and adopt their daily routine - parenting, shopping, housework, creating budgets and social life. For the remaining five days, these women get to run the new house their own way - a radical shock to both families. This intense new series taps into America's voyeuristic tendencies and desires to judge how others run their households, raise their children and treat their spouses. Never before has a reality series taken such an honest inside look at the American family.

deh: I think they purposely named it "Wife Swap" to be misleading...people might assume it involves swapping as in "swinging"! I won't watch it either. I'm sure it's cutesy...but please!

I took my first wife to a "Swap Party" and got 2 chickens, a goose and a duck for her.

Soon enough these programs will merge with the Bachelor type slut shows, No one labels a show wife swapping without intending to escalate into sex swapping

No, because if I leave my computer for longer than fifteen minutes I start to have withdrawls. But seriously has no one heard of the key clubs. Where couples would swap keys and spouses for awhile. This show isn't exactly a new concept.

Yup heard of the key clubs. Plenty of "swinger clubs" around me as well (in the city).
It isn't a new concept but it definitely isn't welcome in my house.

PS. I am quite surprised about the poll and comments so far. I really thought with all the liberals onboard it would be different. Of course shame can be a deterring factor but come on you are in anonymity right?

I've seen an episode, or most of an episode, on Fox. It's interesting to see the people in the show forced to adapt to their new situation...Just not interesting enough to keep my attention

The only reality TV shows I've ever been 'stuck' too were the second and fourth seasons of Survivor. Other than that, I can't really be bothered with watching people act stupid, because I do plenty of that all by myself!

I don't like any "reality TV" shows. If I wanted to watch people getting busy on TV I would use the pay-per-view channels (note people I don't care if you are homo or hetero making out in public is offensive). This almost junk that they continually show is more like almost-porn for adolescents.
It should not be in the public view, and people should choose not to watch these shows.
Felt like clarifying my stance on this issue.

If marriage is a sacred convenant then heck, this country has lots of people who break that sacred convenant--(I think its about 50% who get divorced?) Anyhow, they wouldn't make these shows if people didn't watch them.

Well yeah the majority of this nation is morally bankrupt or else they wouldn't think of running such a show or alot fo the other crap on TV. No doubt its goint to get good ratings.
It doesn't make everyone depraved though and some still hold marriage sacred.
I do my thing they can do thiers. As said I'll take the narrow path.
