First answer these questions...

What color is a white horse?

Who was buried in Grant's tomb?

What year was the war of 1812 fought?

Too contraversial for me

Never had a Mac, so I have no idea.
Do like a lot of the freeware for PC's and what I have and use suites me well, so I doubt I would change.

This is probably more suited to the hardware forum---if you want a flame war.

MAC used to be good for multmedia purposes.
PC are better now:

For my own purposes, a PC is best. I am a gamer, and many of my games were bought for use on my parents' computer, before I bought my own laptop. It is much easier to get games and other software for PC, and the range is much larger. This is more to do with market size, but it is an issue.

The Mac has its own advantages, such as a significantly longer battery life in the models I have seen (Centrinos might have similar life, but I haven't looked into this). I found out recently that the Mac does support the 2+ button mice, a fact I was unaware of. Also, some of the annoying 'features' of Windows are absent.

If you are, a mac is a pc with a crappy os.

If you are not, that means you hate MACs so good for you!
