Good luck!
Ciber, I never filled out an absentee ballot for NY. I figured Id just register here in Georgia and vote on 2 Nov but I still have not recieved confirmation or a voter registration card that will allow me to vote here. That was mid August.

Oh, I mis-read the post. I never got a confirmation when I registered when I got here in KY. All I had to do was call the county clerks office, I asked to verify my registration and precinct. They were able to tell me everything I needed to know for Nov 2.

I believe the article mentioned by linskyjack was the cover story of the Times Magazine section: Faith, Certainty and the Presidency of George W. Bush. I am still aghast. Note, Sweden doesn't have any troops. its neutral. You apparently don't need facts if you have faith. Its all gut fellings man, who needs information, knowledge, thinking, discussion, reflection. I guess if you have a disadvantaged left brain you have to make a god out of your intuitive abilities. Unfortunately these can be in poor shape as well. Aghast!!!!

Spent a pleasant 40 minutes in line, 30 seconds voting and home. My civic duty is done in the voting booth.
