I believe you may be assuming the 49% of the individuals that voted for Kerry were not duped by the same bad Intel the rest of us were.
As I stated before knowing now what the actual status of WMD was I personally would of not elected to invade Iraq at that time but would of waited for further developments.
However we acted on that intel and now we must finish this job as a united effort.
If you have some time you may want to review the Duelfer Report and see what the situation was at the time of invasion.
Interesting unbiased report, an honest critique of what was happening.

Honestly, the bad intel didn't affect my opinion much. I don't believe pre-emptive war is right, at all. I figured Iraq had the wmd's, I mean, they got them from us, right? Who knows, they might still have them somewhere. Possibilities, threats, maybes, and intel reports are not good enough reasons to go to war.

As you say, we are there, and need to finish the job. Job... it sounds so routine, doesn't it? What exactly does that entail? Does anyone know? Elections? Stability?
