I would be better than the current drug czar - at least I know where they are and our whitehouse would have nothing but primo!

The people who post here are of the highest utmost ethical and moral caliber.
If that sounds out of tune with your own lifestyle, then I'm sure you can find another forum to assist you in committing your criminal activity.

If you say you're committing a crime, and you are willingly assisted, that makes the person who helped you an accomplice in your crime.

If you ask me, that sounds pretty selfish.

So don't get upset at these good people. They're just trying to do what is morally right.
Besides, how much did you have to pay for the help for which you were seeking?

"When you pirate software, you're downloading communism"

Actually this has little to do with morals, they are trying to save their butt. Remember you start talking about illegal software and undesirables start coming in here and the site ends up getting sued for one reason or another. No ligit sites can have any mention of this.

In the future hopefully the individual in question is intelligent enough to steal what he wants but not make mention of it. (dah)

I do believe there are times to pirate and times to buy, usually after you pirate and the program actually works right then you buy. I purchased a $1000 last names suite (coats of arms, geneology, heraldry, etc) upgrade for my families business a few years back and it is a pile of crapola. The company did nothing to provide support and I ended up reverting to our now 10yr old database software and refuse to buy from that company.

If I could have tried the software (shareware, illegal, otherwise) I would not have bought the program but I also wouldn't have a useless pile of software that I CAN'T RESELL because it was sold with an upgrade to my hardware dongle that has the code for other programs I need
Given that I NEVER use the program now it was just a big loss of money

If companies nowdays would sell games and software that actually work half the time without conflicts people might not be as tempted to pirate them try them and pass on buying once they find the game doesn't work right.

I can understand this mentality, only people who purchase very little 3rd party software and games and never have been disgusted with a purchase don't feel a little urge to try commercial proggies (that don't have a shareware version) before buying them.

If the program in question could come as shareware I have little simpathy for the original poster (as I don't know what game he is talking about) but if it was only sold with no try before buy I can see why he might do the thing he did.

Cheers

Hi guys hope you can help me.
Here's my problem. I just installed Sim City 4 Rush Hour and used a crack to play it without the CD because its my friends, and the game runs fine, but sometimes when...
Your first mistake was to tell anyone that is was a cracked game. YOur second mistake was not to read the forum rules. Your third mistake was creating a new thread to complain about it. Conclusion: You have no one to blame but yourself.

AF believes he is the new messenger for his gawd. He just posts like this every so often to keep the infidels informed about his agenda.
