Republican & Democratic Candidates for 2008?
What can I tell you, I'm a political junkie. 2004? Old news!

So what do you think? Hillary and Edwards? Biden? McCain? (too old, maybe?) Lieberman?

Come on Man!

My eyes are still bloodshot from staying up to watch the returns last night!!

Can't we just take one day off???????????????

Clinton/Edwards guarantees a GOP win.
Lieberman is too moderate for the current DEM base.

Damn, you pulled me into it!!

Haven't been involved in the political party process I see. Two things are happening right now in the Bush Whitehouse and the Republican party. Bush is determining who is staying and who is leaving (voluntarily or not) and who will replace them. The Party has to plan for the future because it will be an election without an incumbent. Potential candidates are being vetted as we speak.

No way with Jeb, at least not in 2008. Rudy is a good but he has baggage he'd have to handle. The whole cheating "on his wife having the girlfriend live with him in Gracie Mansion" problem. Middle America still turns a jaundice eye toward such behavior.

Gee LAN, now that you mention it, B&E do resemble K&E.
Long face Kerry/Bert
Puckish looking Ernie/Edwards.

True, but he hasn't tried to hide it. He is a moderate, Pro-Choice Catholic, and he fulfills the law and order aspect of the Presidency.
I'm not saying he doesn't have baggage, but don't underestimate what a little grooming can do.
He'd be a great VP candidate.
