The best thing about the Internet...
All those hands that might otherwise be out there dressing up in fatigues and Nazi regalia or shooting people are at home, reading Right Wing websites and blogs.

No. Paying all my bills with one keystroke ranks #1 for me.

Good Morning, Ed
Best thing for me:
When I can't sleep or a nightmare wakes me up, as was the case last night, I can go wandering around at night...fairly safe and warm and discover all kinds of wonderful new things. I saved 4 years for this computer and it has been, by far, the best investment I have ever made. Oh yeah. It's also good for my lads and their homework.

the best thing about the internet for me is the search engines! I love having all of those resources at my fingertips....religion, politics, social issues, recipes, shopping...

Learning and thinking about things that would never cross my path or mind, the quickness of changing from one train of thought to another whether surfing or Forum visiting, the wealth of info, diversity of thought, age, background....blendings of all of the above...........possibilities...........focus of work life in one place..YIKES.I'm addicted to this thing

The ability to have information in a split second It's like having the worlds greatest library at your fingertips!
Meeting people from all over the world, Whom you might never have met otherwise.
Work for me is so much easier. With resources from all over so readily available to sort through and view. I love it!

Oh yes and what Davey said!
