Running the ol air-conditioner on high are we?

I am drinking so much water that I think I'll sink if I go swimming!

LOL..... Fish.... swimming....

Anyway! I had the a/c set on 80 because lemme tell ya, I get cold pretty easily (have ya heard me whine during winter? It's very sad). But lately, I am all about crankin that bad boy down to 70. When you come inside and it takes you 20 minutes to cool down.... That's bad. Also? Puttin the bedroom ceiling fan on high... Noisy but effective.

how cold does it get in Texas where you are at?

A fan is a definite must! Although I do like total quiet

I drink very little soda pop during heat spells.... it just doesn't do it for me, Mostly water and O.J.

I like a smidge of white noise. Total silence, I find oddly very distracting. As if I actually have a chance at total silence here at the intersection of Main St and another gigantic road. Stupid trucks.

How cold has it GOTTEN or how cold does it GET? I'd say a normal day in the winter is like the lower 50's in the "heat" of the day and lower 30's (but not quite freezing) at night. Of course there are days when it's a smidge warmer and plenty of nights when it gets into the teens (too many if ya ask me). Most of our precip ends up being ice which is particularly sucky. It usually snows about once per winter and even then, it's maybe an inch or two. It's rare for it to JUST snow, though. Usually, there's a layer of ice underneath (grr!).

Ahem. I believe the record low temperature is around -4. I'm having a hard time finding statistics online. Then again, it's late and I'm not exactly on my game here....
