Yep...

In Canada, if we use gallons at all, we use the British gallon which is defined in a logical way: 1 gallon of water weighs 10 pounds (not very metric, but logical at least). The American gallon is defined as 3.786 litres. There is probably a logical reason for the American gallon as well, but I am not aware of it.

For our entertainment this evening.

Mach9 and turtle will race Queeny and Snail in the fifty yard crawl. No cheating Mach9!!

WC will be watching the new release of "Briana Loves Jenna".

Barfly will keep a close eye on his remote to makes sure it doesn't move again by itself.

Ciber will be working on his cover to Disturbed's "Down with the Sickness", and Di will be playing with her new toy (I don't even want to know )

Chickens are always peppy. It must have something to do with that small brain not having enough capacity for negative or tiring thoughts.

Thingy:

I ventured to say something in serious, political Civ. Deb threads one morning. Within 5 minutes I had been verbally assaulted by 5 guys. And they were liberal democrats, like myself. Have much easier time sparing with Mulder, believe it or not. Your "serious threads" may however be technical rather than political. Usually just lurk there. Learn alot. Many knowledgeable here on TSG. Many good honest, low -down dirty battlers, too. Learn from them, too.

Why does WC always magically appear in this thread within seconds after his name is mentioned? It could be 4AM and he'd counter a post within a minute. Those small bird brains must not need any sleep

Actually, Mach9, I waded into a Civ thread to play devil's advocate wherein a question was posed for only one seemingly obvious answer. I'm ready for the stone throwing to begin any minute.
