I'm sure everyone remember Operation Matador--conducted this past weekend along the Syrian border. Turns out we had a pledge by Baby Doc Assad that he would move his troops to cordone off the border, and that American stroops would act like hammer, driving the terrorists towards the Syrian Army--who would promptly dispatch them---Guess what, we found out that Syrian intelligence, warned the insurgents before the event was to take place and they all fled north towards Mosul! The net result was that Syria broke of talks with us on stopping infilitration and the operation was an abject failure.


With friends like that, who needs enemies---Can't wait to see how Bush uses his either you with us or against us doctrine" against the worlds epicenter of Terrorist Groups. "

Really nice of Syria....but did you expect anything less?

One nice thing thing that came out of Syria 26 years ago is my Dr! If all Syrians were like him we'd have it made!

Could be! He flew back last year into Damascus to visit his parents he hadn't seen in 17 years!! I'd be afraid to fly there!!! But he and his family made it there and back safely!
