Talking Roll Call for Ladies Only!
I don't see many ladies posting in threads in CivDeb...except maybe in Fishy's bot thread or a few others! So which ladies come here to CivDeb and if you don't post here....why not? I used to be shy to post anything here about politics, religion, abortion, etc....but Wino lent me his iron knickers and there's been no turning back! Thanks Wino!

Well, nobody else seems to be responding, and I at least used to be a lady (at least part time)

As much as I would hate to, I guess I could shave off all my body hair and do some deep pretending. Gosh the sacrfices I make for Angel.

count me in
My brothers gave me thick skin, Angelize. It is easy to see that women are not really welcomed, or embraced here in civ. When my opinion did not meet with approval by another poster I was bullied. Felt like I was standing on a middle school playground. Not only did I not leave, but I continued posting, someone agreed, and pointed out I wasn't being treated very well. The bully then played the gender card. He indicated the man who agreed was hitting on me. Felt like borderline sexual harassment.

Felt like I ought to ask that civ debate be renamed middle school playground. To anyone with thin skin, or whose inner child bruises easily, all it would take was watching a few bully sessions to make them not want to post. Just my POV Anglelize.

Re knickers, you are welcome, as are all ladies with or without knickers.

Bulimics would never have to stick their fingers in their throat to throw up again! Thanks for the image.............I've been picking pieces of barbacoa off my keyboard for two hours!

Women not being welcome here is so not true. Ignore the bullies........your opinions are just as valid as the next persons...............never take yourself or others that seriously............come here to have fun and enjoy.......dismiss the BS and feel free to express yourself.........if someone does not agree, is rude, disgusting, just move on, it's their problem, not yours. Do not be intimidated by anyone. Now, get in here and kick ***!!

*raises hand* I admit i'm a civi deb junkie.

Its not so bad being a girl here. I do get overwhelmed by the large amount of Testosterone that is floating in the air, though. When that happens, I just whip out my handy-dandy can of concentrated Estrogen and spray the vicinity and then I am able to continue on as if I am walking through a garden full of lovely flowers.

The only drawback is all of the weeds that pop up! In that case, you just gotta throw weed killer on them every chance you get!

**raises hand**

Her all, I found my first Civ Deb post! http://forums.techguy.org/civilized-debate/173730-being-gay-sinful-post2593582.html
post #1335 in Is Being Gay Sinful?

Man, I was truly a newbie back then. (see some of my subsequent posts in that thread) **slaps forehead** oh well, had to learn at some point.

Reflecting the sun and all that's gone by.
Be strong, my weary wolf, turn around boldly.
Fly high, my baby bird, my angel, my only.

Boy, you really shouldn't feel that way, everbody gets there butt kicked around in here from time to time regardless of sex. There is some sexual harassment in CD, or as we call it, being Muldered , poor guy, hes on vacation and everyone is taking pot shots at him, what the heck, its fun
