Hello halo. In fairness-- I believe the photo {binoculars} was a fake, although he did look good using them like that!
Pretzels??? we will never know. He may have choked on a bottle of Jack Danials!!
And, there are people who believe that he is not stupid---fewer and fewer , but they are there..

IIRC, the photo was of him looking through the binoculars when the caps were still on the front lenses. Even if it was a real photo, it could have been taken in the split second that he had them raised to look through.

I was going to say "stupid" would be someone who believes everything he or she sees or reads--even doctored photos! We have plenty of those here--I call them "Moore-On's" just to keep them labeled correctly!
