Mulder Accepts Complete Responsiblity for Civilized Debate--The Buck Stops Here!
When TSG town became infested with Loons from the Left, Mulder could stand it no more--he left town. Yes--he shirked his duties. He knew there would be an immediate void--a vacuum that sucked all rationality and common sense out of the forum. Like a black hole of lefty lore, a fair and balanced TSG, was no more.

He kept tabs of course--on his old TSG buddies--he watched Gbrumb meander through threads in utter disbelief at the incoherency of the leftist spin machine--Mulder felt his pain as Gbrumb toiled in vain to teach lefty a lesson--only to suffer a Linksy distort, a Xico hysterical retort, or suffer bassetman post a cartoon of some sort! But Mulder did nothing.

Mulder watched as LAN was "LANbasted" by loon after lefty loon and yet, like Righty Balboa, he just kept coming back for more. Bleeding and dazed--LAN stumbled in and out of liberal town, bobbing left, jabbing right, getting knocked down, and getting back up and getting knocked down again--but Mulder did nothing.

Mulder watched as Gibble Gallantly Challenged the Gullible, even as his brain froze in sub zero temperatures, Gibble Galloped on, to no avail—and Mulder did nothing.

Mulder watched lefties rationalize the beheadings of Americans and sympathize with their murderers--but Mulder did nothing.

Mulder watched as lefty attacked the American military, sided with the enemy, and distorted the conditions of our military detention centers--but Mulder did nothing.

Mulder watched as Bush and the Republicans were crucified by lie after leftist lie after leftist lie--and still Mulder did nothing.

And finally Mulder could stand it no more. He rode back into liberal town--rifles firing, six shooters blazing, and Libido raging!

But there is only so much Mulder could do--only so much damage to be undone, so much nonsense to be unspun, so many hours to expound, and only so many ladies to hound.

So my rational TSG friends--my brothers and sisters of the Right--I take this opportunity to fully and completely accept the blame for the leftist hurricane that destroyed Civilized Debate and ask you for forgiveness--I pledge that Mulder will not leave until the work here is finished--no matter the cost--no matter how long it takes, Mulder will stay until the mission is completed—TSG Civilized Debate will be rebuilt—no matter the cost!

And please my friends, remember even heroes have the right to bleed (I think it’s a Constitutional right, actually, but don't quote me on it).

Right is right--and left is wrong!

Yours in the fight!

After I saw that "10 Biggest Strories" thread, I just lost it--I got giddy. I especially liked EdGreen piling on.

It really is an entertaining place. Its like watching a sitcom where you've got a bunch of "Joey" characters and you think to yourself--"who's going to believe someone is actually that dumb" and then you come here and you read a few of these threads. First you read the title and that brings a smile to your face. You already know your in for good entertainment by the title and the identity of the thread starter. Then you read the first post and that's got you shaking your head--you can't believe it--a dozen foundational problems with the copy and paste article flew right over their head. Then you start reading some of the replies (the usual suspects) and at this point you're wondering whether this place (TSG) is normal--you're hoping its not--intellectually you know its not, but it seems so normal--like a dysfunctional Italian or Jewish family where there's a few normal people and the rest of the bunch are wacked!

But its not the that, its the reasoning. I site some of those too just to tweak a nose or two--I'm grinning ear to ear as I've C&Peing it. Its the absurd conclusions drawn from facts, not necessarily a fallacy in the facts, although that happens to.

What I'm continually amazed at is how easily people rationalize. I've got people that claim every ailment they've got is from a car accident or a slip and fall or whatever. Now these people aren't lying--like Linsky or basset or Xico, et al., they've convinced themselves of something by a complete mind altertering rationalization. They want to beleive there is rampant racism, so that's what they see. They want to believe they are entitled to sue my client for a boil on their arse, so that's what they see. The left here want to believe Bush is responsible for Katrina, so that's what they see. They want to believe Cheney diverts power despite his knowing he's killing patients in hospitals, so that's what they see. They want to beleive that Bush lied about WMDs, so that's what they see! (ooops--you've rationalized that one too! )

My views aren't extreme my friend--I'm mainstream! Moderate on abortion, in favor of hand gun control, fine with gay sex (not for me, but for you its fine), in favor of smut, etc., etc., etc.

You can be extreme on some views, and not so on others...That's where the compromise comes in...Kind of like, Democracy...
