Have You Ever Changed Anything?
As individuals, it's tough to enact change whether locally or beyond.
Not trying to make it a social or athletic or religious thing, but, how have
you changed things?....

In my area, we helped to lower the speed limit in a 'park zone' and it seems to work. People feel safer..

Not single-handedly, mind you but I've made quite a few changes, socially and politically. Will set those aside as I don't feel up to get beat up for being a tad Liberal

I worked with a group of young parents and their families, raising awareness regarding child carseat safety. Public transportation (taxis) became an issue, once we got parents to see that carseats were necessary, even for short trips. I made numerous presentations at City Council and at some of the Taxi companies as well as the Taxi Commission. People can now call for a taxi and ask for one that has carseats available. There are approx. 100 cars with carseats available on any given day.

When Rep was a city counel member here, he asked me to read the local codes and tell him if I saw any problems.
I noticed a quirk in the way one law was written about police carrying guns off duty.
I pointed it out to Rep and a police Lt.
THe City Counsel changed the wording their next meeting.

I'm guessing you've changed your hair colour, but certainly your underwear, once or twice, too

I'm fine. Been quiet last coupla weekends, in here. Maybe people are out enacting change in their communities ... or something.

Have a good day
