So are these also examples of racism?

actually, it's precisely because he is black that you took issue in the first place...that is the fact in these posts....the above is innuendo...there is nothing to support it.

She said she's and adult and wants to be treated like an adult--if she screws up she wants to be criticized because if she does well, its marignalized and minmized by the fact there's no converse criticism. As Rush said, he wishes there were more like her (and there are more as time goes by). She understands that liberal patronizing is the worse kind of racism. You don't need an "evil" motive to be racist and that's what liberals don't understand. Simply treating someone different, even better, because of their race is racism. Liberals just don't get it though--they pander to blacks and blacks are starting to tire of it. I think once Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Ted Kennedy die (or go crazy from syphlis), we can really start making some progress in true equality--that is people being treated the same--exactly the same.

Truth of the matter is I always hesitate and am often reluctant to use any derrogatory comments about the former group for fear it will be deemed "racism" (even though I think their policies are idiotic just like Kennedy, Clinton, and Daschle). I've been called a racist many times for expressing a view oppossing government policies that are "designed" (allegedly) to address the problems of racism which I think are ridiculous and will add to the problems.

So only you can do that?

PS Editted to clarify.

Bassetman, it's difficult for me to sort out what are your words and what are those you're quoting.
So I will refrain from responding to your post to Mulder. I don't want to get it all mixed up.

Just wanted to let you know.

Ted Kennedy smarter than Clarence Thomas?
What brings you to that conclusion? Thomas is a highly educated and experienced jurist. Ted's just a dirtbag politician.

Regardless your political views, you can't seriously believe that Ted is smarter than Clarence.

Edit: I do not believe that race has anything to do with this issue, but I would like to know how you come to this conclusion about smarts.

Democrats and the Supreme Court, a (VERY) brief history
by anthonyLA
Thu Jan 26, 2006 at 09:36:12 PM PDT
There were 57 Democratic Senators in 1991, when the Senate approved the nomination of Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Court. 11 Dem Senators voted yes on the nomination, along with 41 Republicans. Two Republicans actually voted no on the nomination, along with the remaining 46 Democrats.

The ABA was split on Thomas' qualification for the position, with half voting "qualified" (ABA's second lowest rating) and half voting "not qualified" (the lowest rating possible). Not to mention the whole Anita Hill thing (I guess only 48 Senators believed her). Meanwhile the entire ABA voted to give Alito a "very qualified" rating and I seriously doubt that he's been messing around on his wife, we've all seen how crazy she is.

I didn't bring race into this, Mulder did.

As he said in one of his quotes, he ought to be able to critize a minority person regadless of their race, but apparently he doesn't think I shold be able to.

I'm aware of that. I didn't think that you had brought race into it.

I still want to know what makes you think Ted is smarter than Clarence. Race is irrelivant. On that we will always agree. I think Mulder would also agree

But if I were to guess, I'd have to assume Clarence to be, not only smarter than Ted, but MUCH smarter.

As to who is smarter, I guess it's like when you call someone dumb (public figure) it's a personal opinion!

I think it is safer to say that Ted is more 'cunning' --- if he were a woman, that would be a misspelling

Ted doesn't work well in water.
Thomas is a movie critic that enjoys the performances of LongDong Silver.
