Not necessarily "pretty" but John Kennedy got a lot of votes on his looks, you can be sure about that. He definitely had a "Presidential" look and demeanor to him. McCain has it, Guiliani does not, but McCain is too old to get elected, I think.

Guiliani also speaks a little funny--with a lisp or something, which may hurt his chances.

As I said before, our current president is not as unintelligent as most people(from both sides of the political aisle) seem to believe. His devisiveness is, paradoxically, an outgrowth of his desire to be all things to all people, to "be a uniter, not a divider". If he was intentionally being as devisive as most people believe, he would actually win much more support from(get this) both sides of the aisle.

See..................I am whacky, too - or maybe still just naive.
We need more wacky people around here. Unfortunately, the naive thing, I kind of agree with you on that, sorry

Bandit, whatever you are smoking I want some. You actually buy the constant stream of crap that Karl Rove feeds you.

I've been meaning to post a thread somewhere around here fur das Schpelling Nazis uf TSG und TSGs Grammar Taliban. Haven't gotten around to it yet.

I figured we might have a use for a location the posse could call homebase, before saddling up and riding out to round up the traitors who dare to call themselves English-speakers.

McCain has to do something with what is left of his hair. Also, he doesn't look great in suits--something about his shirts that look cheap. My sense is that Giuliani's performance in NYC and during 9/11 will trump any image issues he has. By the way, the beauty of this election is that we can only go up from here....Short of the Republicans nominating some whacko, we can now see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Yummm, Karl Rove Fudgesickles!

The conclusion I've drawn has nothing to do with Karl Rove. It's a combination of my life experiences and my observations of the reactions this administration has ... earned. I would give more detail on the topic, but honestly Linsky, would it matter? Am I really capable of changing your opinions? Even with the blunt sword of truth?

I could mispell every word in my post and I'd still communicate my thoughts a lot more coherently than you do, my dimwitted friend!

My German is a little rusty(Actually, it's more rusted over than the wreck of the Bismark), and it was really more of a Germ-ish (German + English / 2 = Germish ). I never spoke Arabic or Farsi, so, unfortunately, I can't play the same gag with the Taliban part of the joke. Seriously though, what do you think about such a thread?
